Our team at Salumi are a young dynamic team who consistently strive for perfection! We’re mighty proud of them, so we want you to get to know them a little better…

Heading up the kitchen is Jake Hardington. Jake has been on quite a journey with us, starting out as a Chef de Partie two and half years ago and has since quickly risen to take over the reins as Head Chef. Jake has an ethos of simple food, cooked well, which matches Dave’s vision for both restaurants, meaning the pair quickly formed an formidable culinary team.

Taking control of the Front of House team is Taylor Crook. Taylor has been an integral part of the team since Salumi opened in 2015. Taylor’s attention to detail and can do attitude, reassures our customers that they are in good hands, whilst always being greeted with a genuinely warm welcome and incredible service!



Summer Beer Garden BBQs

Join us on the last weekend of each summer month for our bbq nights, with live music, drinks, & bbq food.

CHEF DAVE WINS BEST CHEF 2019

Dave Jenkins, who works at Rock Salt Café and Salumi, picked up the prestigious Best Chef award at the Food Reader Awards 2019 and now joins the likes of Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall and Nathan Outlaw, who have previously received the award.
